Stacey Kafka is a reporter at KEZI 9 News in Eugene, Or. Before joining the KEZI news team in January 2013, She worked as a reporter, anchor and producer at KOMU-TV in Columbia, Mo. She is passionate about the stories she covers and loves meeting the people she
encounters during her reporting experiences. During her time at the University of Missouri, Stacey spent her time in a number of newsrooms. Her reporting experience took her from a student run station at the university to a radio station with more than three million listeners.
Stacey can easily switch between platforms and is truly a multimedia journalist. Stacey began working at KOMU as a production assistant and worked her way up to reporting, producing, and anchoring. Stacey also works at the web desk monitoring the station’s social media sites and getting the conversations started online.
